Bald Eagles

Bald eagles ear very interesting creatures. Female bald eagles are usually bigger than the males. Their wingspan is 8feet long which is about the distance from the floor to ceiling! Bald eagles can live up to 35 years. The most amazing facts about bald eagles is that they can spot their prey when their 10,000 feet high!

Bottle nose Dolphins

Bottle nose dolphins are one of my most favourite animals.Bottle nose dolphins communicate to one another in many different ways. They squeak whistle and use body language like leaping in the air, snapping their jaws, slapping their tails on the surface of the water and even butting their heads! Blowholes that open and close are located on their heads which allow them to breath.

Boa Constrictors

Boa Constrictors are very fascinating creatures.(It is a snake) The Boa constrictor will constrict its prey until it can breath and die. Then the snake will start its feast starting with the head.Boa constrictors are alone since the day they are born. They are born with the knowledge to hunt and hide from their predator. They air so good at hunting that they can catch a bat from the air.

Emperor Penguins

Emperor penguins are the only species that stay for winter in Antarctica. These birds breed during springtime unlike most birds which breed during spring time. The female will lay just a single egg and leave it under the males' feet and go for fishing. The male penguin will stand there in the freezing temperature for 65 days without eating at all! The mothers will return with food when the chicks hatch. Now it is the mother's turn to take care of the chicks. If the chick does not stay in a warm spot it could freeze to death in just as short as 2 minutes!

Killer Whales

Killer whales can eat up to 500 pounds a day. They often hunt in groups like the wolf. They can eat almost all sea creatures. If they work together, they can handle larger animals like blue whales. Their 7.6cm measuring teeth help them in tearing their their prey. They can also camouflage because of their white stomachs. Killer whales can weigh up to 12,000 pounds. They usually swim in about 3 to 4 miles.

My name is Prem. I was born in March 14 1996. I was born in a hospital in India. When I was very young surprisingly I never cried a lot like the other babies! I started to speak my first few words at a such a young age of six months. I was always with my most caring mother. I never went anywhere without my mother. I eventually started to walk at about one an half years old. When I was two, in 1998 I migrated to Singapore with my new born brother, father and mother. I spent one year at home in Singapore and went to pre-school when I was three years old. My father thaught me a lot of things at home, increasing my knowledge. I went for primary 1 in Henry park primary school. I still remember the past five years getting scolded by my teachers. And this year I am going to take my Primary Shcool Leaving Exam! I hope to do well in it.

Elizabeth Choy is a war heroine during world war two. She was born in 1910 and she passed away in 2006 at the age of 96. She came to Singapore in 1929 in search for her higher studies. She enrolled in the convent of holy Jesus and excelled in not only studies but in character as well.
